Each photographer has his very own style of taking photos. After many years of shooting, you usually can narrow the many techniques and approaches into different style categories. I've narrowed it as a result of four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotografie Köln that we cover. We have been completely and fully comfortable shooting each one and allow the couple to choose which style best represents their personality and private flair!

1. Wedding Photojournalism

A wedding photojournalistic style of photography necessitates the photographer not involved nearly as much as normal. The tale is told though the photographs and emphasis is taken off of the typical posed and planned pictures. With this style of photography, we often stand on the sidelines and shoot from the background, becoming as unobtrusive as you can. However, the photos we capture position the viewer right in the mix of what's going on. We capture natural moments which happen in reality minus the typical setting up and posing a picture. With this style of photography, we consider ourselves to be "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer through the "story" of your big day. This is our choice format of photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that often pass by too rapidly and capturing them inside our lens.

2. Traditional Photography

Unlike the marriage photojournalistic style, this form of photography has much involvement in the photographer. Many of the portraits are positioned up and posed, incorporating a classical approach to wedding pictures. Wedding ceremony photographer behaves as a director of sorts, guiding the wedding party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Even though the main type of shooting for the studio will be the Wedding Photojournalistic style, perform have experience of directing and leading wedding events into the posed group and individual formal pictures.

3. Fashion Wedding Photography

This style of photography rings true with its name - it is focused on the element of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos to become taken often book studio time outside of a normal big day shoot. This allows the photographers to plan out a session incorporating more lighting and inventive techniques. Performing a fashion wedding shoot in studio also permits the bride more freedom in stepping into typical fashion poses (such as the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) paired with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both couples request this kind of wedding photography to incorporate something different and dramatic with their wedding picture album.

4. Trash The Dress Wedding Photography

Synonymous with its name, this style of wedding photography involves the "dirtying" of wedding gown worn after the fact. This style of wedding photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after it is all totally said and implemented to offer a creative option to storing away their wedding dress that they will never wear again. A bride can go out to a beach or even a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, or perhaps get muddied in the woods. Quite often, brides feel that this helps them release the deep tension in the wedding. It can be a bride's declaration how the wedding is performed and the dress will never be worn again, so why wouldn't you be creative and artistic with it? At our photography studio, we're more than happy to work with brides who want to "Trash The Dress!"
