Wedding Photography - 4 Specific Styles and Techniques1781163
Each photographer has his personal style of capturing. After many years of shooting, you typically can narrow the different techniques and approaches into different style categories. We have narrowed it as a result of four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotografie Köln that we cover. We have been completely and fully comfortable shooting each one of these and allow the couple to choose which style best represents their personality and flair!
1. Wedding Photojournalism
Being married photojournalistic style of photography requires the photographer not involved approximately normal. The storyline is told although the photographs and emphasis is removed from the typical posed and planned pictures. With this style of photography, we tend to stand on the sidelines and shoot in the background, becoming as unobtrusive as you can. However, the photos we capture place the viewer right in the mix of what is happening. We capture natural moments that happen in reality minus the typical establishing and posing a photo. With this style of photography, we consider ourselves to become "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer from the "story" of your wedding day. This is our choice format of wedding photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that usually pass by prematurely and capturing them in your lens.
2. Traditional Photography
Unlike the wedding photojournalistic style, this style of photography has much involvement in the photographer. Lots of the portraits are placed up and posed, incorporating a classical approach to wedding pictures. The wedding photographer acts as a director of sorts, guiding wedding ceremony party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Even though the main kind of shooting for our studio is the Wedding Photojournalistic style, we all do have experience in directing and leading wedding parties into the posed group and individual formal pictures.
3. Fashion Wedding Photography
This style of photography rings true with its name - it's focused on the part of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos to be taken often book studio time outside of a normal wedding day shoot. This permits the photographers to plot out a session incorporating more lighting and inventive techniques. Performing a fashion wedding shoot in studio also allows the bride more freedom in moving into typical fashion poses (like the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) associated with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both couples request this form of wedding photography to incorporate something different and dramatic with their wedding scrapbook.
4. Trash Clothes Wedding Photography
Symbolic of its name, this form of wedding photography involves the "dirtying" of bridal dress worn after the fact. This style of wedding photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after it is all totally said and completed to offer a creative alternative to storing away their bridal dress that they will never wear again. A bride can go out to a beach or even a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, or perhaps get muddied in the woods. Quite often, brides feel that this helps them release the deep tension from the wedding. It can be a bride's declaration how the wedding is done and the dress will never be worn again, so why not be creative and artistic with it? At our wedding photography studio, we have been more than happy to do business with brides who would like to "Trash The Dress!"
