Wedding Photography - 4 Specific Styles and Techniques3517158
Each photographer has his personal style of taking photos. After many years of shooting, you usually can narrow the various techniques and approaches into different style categories. I have narrowed it as a result of four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotograf Köln that we cover. We are completely and fully comfortable shooting every one and allow the couple to choose which style best represents their personality and personal flair!
1. Wedding Photojournalism
Being married photojournalistic style of photography necessitates the photographer not being involved nearly as much as normal. The story is told although photographs and emphasis is removed from the typical posed and planned pictures. With this particular style of wedding photography, we often stand on the sidelines and shoot from your background, becoming as unobtrusive as you possibly can. However, the photos we capture place the viewer in the actual mix of what's going on. We capture natural moments that occur in reality without the typical establishing and posing a picture. With this style of photography, we consider ourselves to be "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer through the "story" of your wedding day. This is our choice format of wedding photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that usually pass by prematurely and capturing them within our lens.
2. Traditional Photography
Unlike the marriage photojournalistic style, this kind of photography has much involvement from your photographer. Lots of the portraits are set up and posed, incorporating a classical approach to wedding pictures. Wedding ceremony photographer behaves as a director of sorts, guiding the wedding party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Although the main type of shooting for our studio may be the Wedding Photojournalistic style, we all do have experience with directing and leading wedding events into the posed group and individual formal pictures.
3. Fashion Photography
This style of wedding photography rings true having its name - it really is focused on the element of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos being taken often book studio time outside of a normal wedding ceremony shoot. This permits the photographers to plot out a session incorporating more lighting and creative techniques. Carrying out a fashion wedding shoot in studio also enables the bride more freedom in moving into typical fashion poses (including the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) paired with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both couples request this form of wedding photography to incorporate something different and dramatic for their wedding scrapbook.
4. Trash Clothes Wedding Photography
Symbolic of its name, this form of wedding photography requires the "dirtying" of wedding gown worn afterwards. This style of wedding photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after it is all totally said and implemented to offer a creative substitute for storing away their bridal dress that they will never wear again. A bride can venture out to a beach or a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, as well as get muddied up in the woods. Often times, brides believe that this helps them release the deep tension in the wedding. It's really a bride's declaration the wedding is done and the dress will never be worn again, so why not be creative and artistic by using it? At our wedding photography studio, we have been more than happy to work with brides who would like to "Trash The Dress!"
