Each photographer has his personal style of capturing. After many years of shooting, you usually can narrow the many techniques and approaches into different style categories. I've narrowed it right down to four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotos Köln that we cover. We're completely and fully comfortable shooting every one and allow the couple to choose which style best represents their personality and private flair!

1. Wedding Photojournalism

Being married photojournalistic style of photography necessitates the photographer not involved approximately normal. The storyline is told although photographs and emphasis is removed from the typical posed and planned pictures. Using this style of photography, we tend to stand on the sidelines and shoot in the background, becoming as unobtrusive as possible. However, the photos we capture put the viewer in the actual mix of what's going on. We capture natural moments which happen in reality minus the typical creating and posing a picture. With this style of photography, we consider ourselves to be "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer from the "story" of your big day. This is our choice format of photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that often pass by too quickly and capturing them in your lens.

2. Traditional Wedding Photography

Unlike wedding ceremony photojournalistic style, this style of photography has much involvement from your photographer. Most of the portraits are positioned up and posed, incorporating a classical approach to wedding pictures. Wedding ceremony photographer behaves as a director of sorts, guiding wedding ceremony party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Even though main kind of shooting for the studio may be the Wedding Photojournalistic style, we do have experience with directing and leading wedding events into the posed group and individual formal pictures.

3. Fashion Wedding Photography

This style of wedding photography rings true having its name - it is focused on the part of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos to be taken often book studio time outside a normal big day shoot. This permits the photographers to plan out a session incorporating more lighting and inventive techniques. Performing a fashion wedding shoot in studio also allows the bride more freedom in stepping into typical fashion poses (like the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) combined with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both couples request this style of wedding photography to incorporate something different and dramatic for their wedding photo album.

4. Trash The Dress Wedding Photography

Symbolic of its name, this kind of wedding photography requires the "dirtying" of bridal dress worn afterwards. This style of photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after everything is said and implemented to offer a creative option to storing away their bridal dress that they will never wear again. A bride can go out to a beach or even a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, as well as get muddied up in the woods. Often times, brides believe this helps them release the deep tension from your wedding. It's rather a bride's declaration that the wedding is completed and the dress should never be worn again, so why not be creative and artistic with it? At our photography studio, we have been more than happy to work with brides who would like to "Trash The Dress!"
