Each photographer has his personal style of capturing. After many years of shooting, you typically can narrow the various techniques and approaches into different style categories. We have narrowed it right down to four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotograf Köln that we cover. We're completely and fully comfortable shooting each one and allow the couple to choose which style best represents their personality and personal flair!

1. Wedding Photojournalism

A marriage photojournalistic style of photography requires the photographer not being involved nearly as much as normal. The storyline is told though the photographs and emphasis is removed from the typical posed and planned pictures. With this style of photography, we tend to stand on the sidelines and shoot in the background, becoming as unobtrusive as you can. However, the photos we capture place the viewer right in the mix of what's going on. We capture natural moments that happen in reality minus the typical establishing and posing an image. With this type of photography, we consider ourselves being "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer from the "story" of your wedding day. This is our choice format of photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that usually pass by too rapidly and capturing them inside our lens.

2. Traditional Wedding Photography

Unlike the marriage photojournalistic style, this style of photography has much involvement in the photographer. Lots of the portraits are set up and posed, incorporating a approach to wedding pictures. The marriage photographer provides a director of sorts, guiding the marriage party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Although the main style of shooting for our studio may be the Wedding Photojournalistic style, perform have experience in directing and leading wedding events into the posed group and individual formal pictures.

3. Fashion Wedding Photography

This style of photography rings true having its name - it really is focused on the element of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos to be taken often book studio time beyond a normal wedding day shoot. This permits the photographers to plot out a session incorporating more lighting and inventive techniques. Carrying out a fashion wedding shoot in studio also allows the bride more freedom in getting into typical fashion poses (like the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) associated with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both wedding couples request this style of wedding photography to incorporate something different and dramatic with their wedding picture album.

4. Trash The gown Wedding Photography

Symbolic of its name, this kind of wedding photography requires the "dirtying" of wedding dress worn afterwards. This style of photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after things are said and done to offer a creative substitute for storing away their wedding dress that they will never wear again. A bride can go out to a beach or even a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, or even get muddied up in the woods. In many cases, brides believe this helps them release the deep tension from the wedding. It can be a bride's declaration the wedding is completed and the dress will never be worn again, so why not be creative and artistic by using it? At our photography studio, we are more than happy to do business with brides who want to "Trash The Dress!"
