Each photographer has his very own style of taking pictures. After many years of shooting, you usually can narrow the various techniques and approaches into different style categories. I've narrowed it as a result of four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotos Köln that we cover. We have been completely and fully comfortable shooting each one and allow the pair to choose which style best represents their personality and private flair!

1. Wedding Photojournalism

A marriage photojournalistic style of photography requires the photographer not involved nearly as much as normal. The storyline is told although photographs and emphasis is removed from the typical posed and planned pictures. With this style of wedding photography, we tend to stand on the sidelines and shoot from your background, becoming as unobtrusive as you possibly can. However, the photos we capture place the viewer in the mix of what is going on. We capture natural moments that happen in reality minus the typical setting up and posing an image. With this style of photography, we consider ourselves to be "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer from the "story" of your wedding ceremony. This is our choice format of photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that frequently pass by too rapidly and capturing them inside our lens.

2. Traditional Wedding Photography

Unlike the wedding photojournalistic style, this kind of photography has much involvement from your photographer. Many of the portraits are set up and posed, incorporating a more traditional approach to wedding pictures. Wedding ceremony photographer provides a director of sorts, guiding the marriage party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Although the main kind of shooting for your studio may be the Wedding Photojournalistic style, we all do have experience in directing and leading wedding parties into the posed group and individual formal pictures.

3. Fashion Wedding Photography

This style of photography rings true having its name - it's focused on the part of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos to be taken often book studio time outside a normal big day shoot. This enables the photographers to organize out a session incorporating more lighting and creative techniques. Carrying out a fashion wedding shoot in studio also permits the bride more freedom in moving into typical fashion poses (such as the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) paired with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both brides and grooms request this form of wedding photography to add something different and dramatic with their wedding picture album.

4. Trash The gown Wedding Photography

Synonymous with its name, this style of wedding photography involves the "dirtying" of wedding gown worn afterwards. This style of photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after things are said and implemented to offer a creative option to storing away their bridal dress that they will never wear again. A bride can go out to a beach or perhaps a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, or perhaps get muddied up in the woods. Quite often, brides believe this helps them release the deep tension from the wedding. It can be a bride's declaration the wedding is done and the dress will not be worn again, so why don't you be creative and artistic with it? At our wedding photography studio, we have been more than happy to work with brides who would like to "Trash The Dress!"
