Each photographer has his personal style of taking photos. After many years of shooting, you always can narrow the various techniques and approaches into different style categories. We have narrowed it as a result of four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotograf Köln that we cover. We have been completely and fully comfortable shooting each one and allow the happy couple to choose which style best represents their personality and personal flair!

1. Wedding Photojournalism

A wedding photojournalistic style of photography involves the photographer not involved approximately normal. The story is told though the photographs and emphasis is taken off of the typical posed and planned pictures. With this particular style of wedding photography, we tend to stand on the sidelines and shoot from the background, becoming as unobtrusive as you possibly can. However, the photos we capture position the viewer in the mix of what is happening. We capture natural moments that occur in reality without the typical setting up and posing a photo. With this style of photography, we consider ourselves being "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer through the "story" of your big day. This is our choice format of photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that often pass by too quickly and capturing them within our lens.

2. Traditional Photography

Unlike the wedding photojournalistic style, this form of photography has much involvement from the photographer. Lots of the portraits are set up and posed, incorporating a more traditional approach to wedding pictures. The marriage photographer provides a director of sorts, guiding wedding ceremony party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Even though the main style of shooting for your studio will be the Wedding Photojournalistic style, we all do have experience of directing and leading wedding events into the posed group and individual formal pictures.

3. Fashion Wedding Photography

This style of wedding photography rings true with its name - it really is focused on the element of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos to become taken often book studio time outside of a normal big day shoot. This enables the photographers to organize out a session incorporating more lighting and creative techniques. Doing a fashion wedding shoot in studio also permits the bride more freedom in stepping into typical fashion poses (including the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) associated with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both brides and grooms request this style of wedding photography to include something different and dramatic for their wedding scrapbook.

4. Trash The Dress Wedding Photography

Synonymous with its name, this form of wedding photography involves the "dirtying" of wedding dress worn afterwards. This style of photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after it is all totally said and done to offer a creative alternative to storing away their wedding gown that they will never wear again. A bride can go out to a beach or even a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, or perhaps get muddied in the woods. In many cases, brides feel that this helps them release the deep tension from your wedding. It's rather a bride's declaration how the wedding is performed and the dress should never be worn again, so why don't you be creative and artistic with it? At our wedding photography studio, we have been more than happy to work with brides who wants to "Trash The Dress!"
