Each photographer has his personal style of taking pictures. After many years of shooting, you typically can narrow the many techniques and approaches into different style categories. We have narrowed it as a result of four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotografin Köln that we cover. We have been completely and fully comfortable shooting each one of these and allow the pair to choose which style best represents their personality and personal flair!

1. Wedding Photojournalism

A marriage photojournalistic style of photography necessitates the photographer not involved as much as normal. The tale is told although the photographs and emphasis is removed from the typical posed and planned pictures. With this particular style of wedding photography, we tend to stand on the sidelines and shoot from the background, becoming as unobtrusive as you can. However, the photos we capture position the viewer in the actual mix of what's going on. We capture natural moments that occur in reality minus the typical setting up and posing an image. With this kind of photography, we consider ourselves to be "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer from the "story" of your wedding day. This is our choice format of wedding photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that frequently pass by prematurely and capturing them inside our lens.

2. Traditional Photography

Unlike the marriage photojournalistic style, this style of photography has much involvement in the photographer. Most of the portraits are set up and posed, incorporating a more traditional approach to wedding pictures. The marriage photographer behaves as a director of sorts, guiding the marriage party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Even though the main type of shooting for the studio is the Wedding Photojournalistic style, we do have experience with directing and leading wedding events into the posed group and individual formal pictures.

3. Fashion Photography

This style of photography rings true with its name - it's focused on the component of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos to become taken often book studio time outside a normal big day shoot. This allows the photographers to organize out a session incorporating more lighting and creative techniques. Performing a fashion wedding shoot in studio also enables the bride more freedom in getting into typical fashion poses (like the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) paired with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both couples request this form of wedding photography to add something different and dramatic with their wedding scrapbook.

4. Trash The gown Wedding Photography

Symbolic of its name, this kind of wedding photography involves the "dirtying" of bridal dress worn afterwards. This style of wedding photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after it is all totally said and done to offer a creative substitute for storing away their bridal dress that they will never wear again. A bride can go out to a beach or perhaps a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, or even get muddied up in the woods. Quite often, brides feel that this helps them release the deep tension in the wedding. It's rather a bride's declaration that the wedding is performed and the dress should never be worn again, so why don't you be creative and artistic with it? At our photography studio, we have been more than happy to do business with brides who wants to "Trash The Dress!"
