Each photographer has his personal style of taking photos. After many years of shooting, you always can narrow the many techniques and approaches into different style categories. I have narrowed it as a result of four different typical formats of Hochzeitsfotografie Köln that we cover. We have been completely and fully comfortable shooting each one of these and allow the pair to choose which style best represents their personality and flair!

1. Wedding Photojournalism

A marriage photojournalistic style of photography involves the photographer not being involved nearly as much as normal. The tale is told although the photographs and emphasis is removed from the typical posed and planned pictures. With this particular style of photography, we tend to stand on the sidelines and shoot in the background, becoming as unobtrusive as you can. However, the photos we capture position the viewer in the actual mix of what is going on. We capture natural moments which happen in reality without the typical establishing and posing a photo. With this style of photography, we consider ourselves to be "photographic storytellers," guiding the viewer through the "story" of your wedding ceremony. This is our choice format of wedding photography. We truly enjoy finding those definite moments of significance that often pass by too quickly and capturing them within our lens.

2. Traditional Wedding Photography

Unlike the wedding photojournalistic style, this style of photography has much involvement from your photographer. Many of the portraits are positioned up and posed, incorporating a approach to wedding pictures. Wedding ceremony photographer provides a director of sorts, guiding wedding ceremony party and guests into formations and poses for photos. Even though main kind of shooting for our studio will be the Wedding Photojournalistic style, we all do have experience of directing and leading wedding events into the posed group and individual formal pictures.

3. Fashion Wedding Photography

This style of wedding photography rings true having its name - it's focused on the part of fashion. Brides who request fashion wedding photos to become taken often book studio time outside a normal big day shoot. This enables the photographers to organize out a session incorporating more lighting and artistic techniques. Carrying out a fashion wedding shoot in studio also permits the bride more freedom in stepping into typical fashion poses (such as the hands on the hips, hunched back pose) associated with a more serious and "fashion-like" facial expression. Both wedding couples request this kind of wedding photography to include something different and dramatic for their wedding picture album.

4. Trash The Dress Wedding Photography

Synonymous with its name, this style of wedding photography requires the "dirtying" of wedding gown worn afterwards. This style of wedding photography is also called "fearless bridal" or "rock the frock." Typically, brides choose this after things are said and implemented to offer a creative alternative to storing away their wedding gown that they will never wear again. A bride can go out to a beach or even a fountain, take pictures in city streets or on railroads, in abandoned buildings or fields, or even get muddied up in the woods. Often times, brides believe that this helps them release the deep tension from the wedding. It's really a bride's declaration that the wedding is completed and the dress will not be worn again, so why not be creative and artistic from it? At our photography studio, we are more than happy to do business with brides who wants to "Trash The Dress!"
